OUR STORY

Dan and Jess' journey began in 2015, united by their shared passion for music, concerts, and photography. Their collaborative story unfolds from creating content for friends and family to the establishment of Trailr Park Studios.

The Humble Beginnings: Their first client, secured in February 2017, marked the inception of a remarkable journey. The initial payment for a music video was a modest $75, sparking inspiration in Dan, who had yet to realize this could evolve into a legitimate "job."

From DIY to Dedicated: Starting with low-budget projects, including music videos, recaps, cooking shows, weddings, and photoshoots, they utilized DIY $5 lights. Juggling their 9-5 jobs as call center agents, Dan edited videos during phone calls. The couple explored various side hustles, from reselling items to food delivery, all with the goal of focusing solely on music videos.

Struggles to Upgrades: As the client list expanded, upgrades followed suit. They transitioned from $5 lights to $40 lights and upgraded their $100 camera to a $400 used camera. Notable encounters with artists like #2Stoned, Grammy-nominated voice coach Ronnie Hall, and the breakthrough collaboration with Quin NFN on "Talking My Shit," approaching 26 million views, marked transformative moments.

Trailr Park Studios Inception: On August 17, 2020, they signed the lease for their warehouse, birthing Trailr Park Studios. The studio aims to create an inclusive space where people can break out of their comfort zones, offering built-in sets, including a white cyclorama wall and green screen, inspired by studios in California and Atlanta.

Turning Negatives into Positives: Choosing the name "Trailr Park" derived from their shared background of growing up in a trailer park. It symbolizes turning a perceived negative into something positive, fueling their desire to make the studio as affordable and inclusive as possible.

Customer-Centric Growth: Focusing on exceptional customer service, Trailr Park Studios has grown its client list to over 900 individuals, and on the horizon is a new studio location, 1.5X the size of the current space.

The Journey Continues: Their story is a testament to starting somewhere and evolving. Trailr Park Studios is poised to witness more life-changing moments through videos, and they express gratitude to their clients, friends, and collaborators for being part of this incredible journey.

Remember, we all start somewhere.
